About the project

After acquiring an understanding of the users, I conducted a poll to identify those who were using the Cricket Exchange for the very first time to play fantasy cricket games. One day was allotted for participation in the poll on the Cricket Exchange website.

From the replies to our survey, we learned that 77.6% of our clients had previously participated in cricket fantasy on another site. This presented us with an additional problem, as we wanted to persuade those users that our platform was superior to the alternatives.

The remaining 22.4% of users had never participated in a cricket fantasy game before, and we wanted to keep them engaged with our platform and convert them into loyal users so they could participate in our program and invite their friends to join.

Since June 20, 2022, the number of persons signing up for the program has decreased cricket exchange platform significantly. In July, the number of daily active users for a single day fell below 12% for the first time. In comparison to the period preceding the IPL 2022, the number of daily active users has decreased significantly. Because this data was also impacting our revenue, we decided to build a funnel to understand where the drops were and where our efforts were most required.
